Summary: |
Audio/Visual technology upgrade for a small-to-medium church in the Salt Lake City area
|
Client Profile: |
Small-to-medium-sized mainline Protestant church (~100 average weekend attendance) in the Salt Lake City area
|
Work Details: |
– Upgraded the front of the sanctuary from a standard-definition projector and obtrusive drop-down screen to a pair of high-definition LED monitors. These new screens allowed for visual content to be much crisper and easier to read/see.
– Upgraded the speaker system to thin line array speakers. These new speakers took up much less physical real estate and were not as distracting as the larger speakers that had been in place. The new speakers also use more modern technology to better project sound throughout the entire sanctuary. – Added a confidence screen in the back of sanctuary, to assist those leading worship. – Added a wireless system for the sanctuary sound to be streamed in the nursery, allowing those in the nursery to listen along to the worship service. – Championed the creation of a Technology Committee to centralize knowledge, training, and inventory related to A/V and other relevant/growing technologies. |
